Ok, so I HAVE to write a blog about how awesome all my Momma friends are, since I blogged about all Aubrey's tummy troubles and her formula I have had several, people reach out to me with advice and support...Something that I don't know what I would have done with out. Also I have had a few GREAT Mommas start to coupon clip, and deal search for me. This has been SOOOOOOOO HELPFUL! A special thanks to Jenn B, Grace M, and Jessica O for getting coupons for me and looking for the steals!
I will start with her formula, last night Jenn text me about her formula being at Vintage Baby for 7.99 a can...Regular price is 25.99. They had 6 unexpired unopened cans there...So I jumped on it. If you do the math, that is 155.94 dollars worth of formula for a total of 47.94!!! That is 108 dollars SAVINGS! YES!!!!!!!!!!! I don't think I could thank her enough for letting me know about them there because Vintage Baby is the LAST place i would EVER look for formula at.
I really think this formula is not going to be such a big of a deal as I thought it was to have because at my doctors office they said just to ask for free samples every time I go there, AND when all this supply runs out, I have several coupons already that can be combined together for super savings. I really love COUPONs!!!!!!!
My dear friend Jessica O let me in on a little secret of Amazon Moms to save 30% off diapers and free2-day shipping...PLUS there are usually coupons in the Babytalk and Parenting magazines for an additional 10 dollars or 20% off...I got 80 dollars worth of diapers for Tyler and Aubrey for $30 dollars!!! Let me tell you, saving 50 dollars on diapers is a GREAT feeling!
The only problem with Amazon, is that it is super addicting. I shop A LOT for things for the kids, good deals, but it does add up, lol but it is so convenient not having to leave the house and not have to pay for shipping!
Got this Zebra back pack today from Amazon, after arguing with my husband if Zebra is too girley for Tyler...I obviously won and Tyler LOVES it! He carrys all his cars and books and if hes lucky some fruit snacks in there :-) We are expecting 4 more packages today...It feels like Christmas! LOL
Anyways Aubrey is doing great now, and she is starting to sleep for longer periods of time, still between 3 to 4 hours witch is not ideal, but a HUGE improvement since being put on this formula, I can't wait until she sleeps the whole night!!! I do have to ask, how long did you have your baby sleep in the same room as you? Please comment and let me know. With Tyler I only had him in with me for the first month and had him in his own crib after, BUT we were on the same floor, with Aubrey since she has had all these problems with her tummy AND her room is on a different floor I want her to be with us longer, but I don't want it to be a thing where she would suffer from separation issues when I DO end up having her sleep in her own room. Feel free to give me your opinions on this issue! I still am amazed by how different 2 babies from the same parents can be!!
Aubrey at 6 weeks and 3 days, she is getting so big!
He is such a great big brother!
Well that's all for now! Happy hump day!!!!!!
You silly girl! You're always talkin' me up in your blogs! LOL! Anyway- to answer you question: We had Payton in a bassinet in our room for 3 months. At that point she moved to her crib in her room and basically started sleeping through the night at that point :) Good Luck!!
ReplyDeleteKennedy was in our room and in our bed till she was 9 months old. ANd you know what? I wouldn't have changed it for the world. She transitioned to her crib without any problems and i loved snuggling up with her.
ReplyDeleteJess, that is because you are one of my only friends! LOL Thanks for the suggestions ladies! :)
