Locked Out!!!!!

This picture is obviously old but I wanted to find one that he looked super Angelic for this story :)

So, Tyler and I ran to the store for a few groceries tonight and he was such a good boy at the store (if you haven't gone shopping with a toddler then I will tell you this can be rare) , and in such a great mood, (crazy because we got no sleep last night)  So we drove home, and I decided to put him inside before I tried to carry in the bags because it was so cold outside and I didn't want him to stand outside and wait for me. So I took him in, took his coat off, let the dog out of the cage and walked outside to get the bags, I still can see him in the screen door so I figure I was ok, my house is child proofed, I can see him, nothing can go wrong...BUT IT DID...

Tyler locked the screen door, to witch we do not have a key for so I couldn't call the several people who have my house keys for emergencies, so I try to be calm and sit there and try to get Tyler to unlock it, he tried...several times but he just couldn't get it. It must be easier to lock than unlock...So I started to get frustrated, my friend Andrea was on her way over to hang out for a little bit, and she was trying to think of what to do, meanwhile i call my mom to let her know whats going on and you know how it is when you talk to your mom...I started bawling. I turned so Ty couldn't see because i did not want him to freak out. My mom called my sister to come over and help, And Andrea called her friend Ryan, (happens to be Chad's cousin) and they all showed up at the same time, my brother in law first tried with a credit card and that was not working, and Ryan went to grab some tools and got it open right away! He did not even break out lock or door. I was impressed but more happy just to be inside with Ty because at that time he was starting to get scared and cry because he was inside alone and everyone else was out. I was outside for 1 hour. It was the longest/coldest hour ever but I am so glad that I didn't have to call the fire department or police or anything and cause a huge scene in my neighborhood. Ty was happy to have Mommy in with him. I hope that never happens again! At least I have a funny story to tell him when he gets older!
what a little naughty :) you gotta love him tho
